Welcome to Year 6H :)
We went on a Litter Pick recently. We collected a lot of rubbish so please remember to dispose of your waste carefully.
We designed, created and advertised our own drinks. Have a look at some of the pictures.
Here we are learning some rugby skills from Martin. We were a little anxious about rugby at the beginning but love it now!
For Maths Week, we checked the price of and bought a range of rainforest fruits using the Asda website. We tried the fruits then collected information to find out the favourite rainforest fruit of our class. The most popular fruit was the pineapple and the least popular was the grapefruit. (Although 2 people did love grapefruit!!) Surprisingly lime was the favourite fruit of 5 children!!
We hope you enjoy reading our fun Pie Charts as much as we had fun creating them!
On 13th September 2016, our class celebrated Roald Dahl's 100th Birthday Anniversary. We designed our own chocolate bars and wrote why Willy Wonka should create them using persuasive language. We presented our chocolate bars to the rest of the class! We also read some Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, learnt about Roald Dahl's life, discussed our favourite Roald Dahl books, played birthday games and even had some birthday cake!
Here are some pictures of us designing our own chocolate bars.
Here are some videos to help you learn your times tables!
